Holiday Gifts Stroke Patients

red soil and rain

So now there are also once again a post from me. recently had their hands full of work, my parents came to visit me and as we have of course tried to visit all of Australia within 10 days. Did not quite work out, but we have seen a lot in any case.

Right after we went to a three-day tour to Broken Hill. This is about 850 km away from Melbourne and the radius of 300 km is definitely no civilization, no village, no nothing (a gas station half way to the arrogant tourists). But the trip to Broken Hill suggests, that the clock tick something else (actually there because even 30 minute time change, but we have noticed until the second day ^ ^). The first few hundred miles on forever WORKS by cornfields, then the country will slowly dry and only bushes are visible. The last town before Broken H ill, Mildura, then again super green (vineyards) and acts like an oasis in the middle of the whole desert. Then, as I said 300km without a house and then comes Broken Hill.

On the way we then isolated kangaroos seen (unfortunately, more dead than alive) and emus and small stops always enjoyed the scenery. What was clearly there in the Outback is nowhere safe from flies. A five-minute stop and you have a whole colony to get around, but somehow belongs to a little flair. The next day we drove to Silverton a small "city", which is even further in nothing, now had 3,000 residents and now a full 20 calls her own (but has 3 art galleries!). But at least the ghost town location is now up about 200 movies have been, 2 including, for example Mad Max And who wants to walk again on Mel Gibson's tracks, which can even since the original car from Mad Max marvel, really cool truck.

Then we went on the obligatory Bush Walk through the Outback, where we then were able to save even no longer kangaroos, lizards and other outback animals. After visiting the sculpture park of Broken Hill (yes, there all very focused on art), as we went on the first night in the Democratic Club (large bar) for steak and eat and drink a few beers / whiskey. The next day we wanted to have a national park in south 200km of Broken Hill, but since we unfortunately the weather had thwarted plans. Yes exactly, since we were amazed Nocht bad, it rained in the outback and how. The Broken Hill'er found the total super, of course, we do not like to but what can you do ...

went So the last week then, unfortunately, continues in Melbourne, rain, rain and more rain (Apid said the longest period of rain the last few years). Stupid for my parents, but I think we have time still well used. The schedule then that is still the City including Eureka Tower, Queen Victoria Market, my university, the Great Ocean Road, Phillip Iceland (with hyperactive koalas, which are ran around like crazy), each Amount of seafood and the casino (where I'm like literally threw the first machine a dollar and in 1995 again came out!). So at the end here in Melbourne also off operations in the area for me here rapidly.

Well, and now say again bye bye for me here in Melbourne. Nearly five months I was here and I must say I enjoyed every second. Somehow take the seemingly only a bit faster than us, at least I feel like as if I only arrived yesterday. And even now I sit here at the airport, waiting for my plane, which brings me to Sydney where I will meet Thomas, Lars and Marco, have begun our grand tour already. If I think a wonderful thing! Fixed station next to Sydney then Brisbane, by then called Road Trip. Let's see super, what will be there so everything going on. Then you will soon find at least here:) Until then, greetings to Germany and have fun in the snow:)
