Ap Biology Lab 6- Dependant

day and night

longing captured my heart, pushing it against the current. Here I am, waiting, and then long to go. Small moments, little thoughts, great compromise that I can not go. I was negotiating not with life. I know the price and I pay him.
The sun goes down and I welcome the night as welcome as a mother, for it was she who bore me. I feed on her breast the thought and in her womb I weigh myself to my fate.
In this darkness I'm free and see in these moments you laugh at me, see me dance and it's happened to you almost like a dream. I laugh alone, I dance alone, and I'm not willing to exchange that freedom for an illusion. Forgive me, I call to you when you zukehrst me back, it's okay.
The day comes, the sun will rise and they will flood the room with light, but all that light is then not more to see me because I will forever dance the night and laugh with.
I loved the day.

"Death is the cool night,
Life is the sultry day."
Heinrich Heine (1797 - 1856) German poet, short story writer and novelist
