Thank You To Pastor At Funeral
The Breakdown
Okok, it turned out the way it had to come again. Cindy and I were on the way to Airlie Beach (Whitsundays) to Townsville, the nearest large town to the north than in a are discreet pitch at one time the car stopped, there came a bang from the engine-direction, all smoked and expired green liquid! First correct crap!
addition, we were not further down the highway but 2 km on the road to nem Lookout, also from the nearest major city in each direction at least 100km ... Well, that first broke the cart and we in the middle of nothing. (But Thank God there lots of friendly people here, so we were taken very quickly to a gas station, could call a mechanic and could be taken back to the car for an hour later (at 40 degrees with no prospect of shadows), we were then towed to the next hole, where we then got help immediately! Was a broken radiator (ie, cooling system), which could then be purchased on the next day, that is really not all that bad. Gammeln stop here now in nem absolutely run-down dump two days around and wait until the car is repaired. Actually, sometimes quite well, so we have a little time for us:)

Whitsundays Fraser Iceland
Fraser Iceland is another mandatory item when you travel the east coast of Australia and I must say, just awesome! This is the largest sand island in the world (about 100 x 20 km) and the only one that grows on the rain forest. But this is already cool! Since there's no concrete road (but really just sand), we have hired a Land Cruiser in the geländemäßgsten equipment and we went off on the sandy slopes!
And I can tell you truly, there is a lot of fun! Domestic routes consist of "roads" in the middle through the jungle, where one of the top speed of 35km / h and rarely achieved even at 20, the car takes strong. Strike, through the car whirling people (especially Cindy and I back) and slopes were in each direction as part of everyday life that we all had to take 10 minutes to change drivers, because that was such a fun. On the first day we have actually already thought that the car can never survive, what we do here, but it seems to be really robust, but Ding! The highways of the island are then officially the beaches, where you heat up with good sand with 80km / h over the place! Every now and then come every now and small streams that are obtained by bangs or sometimes over it is flying :) So great fun and learn site, we are now all! Apart
from all over the car driving around, we have again seen a lot of Fraser Iceland nature. The highlights are the freshwater lakes on the island with azure blue water and white sand completely. Thats has also seen a ship-wreck, rays, sharks and sea turtles from a mountain of sand without end (longest beach 75 km) and the famous Champaigne Pools. We have each had stayed in a tent on the beach and there also lots of outdoor feeling. So we had a night as a Brown Snake 2m (zweitgiftigste snake in the world, poison kills 100 people) live from our tent, we place observed to eat and has found pleasure in it, along our tent wall to meander. We have also seen a 1.80 long python and an indefinable black snake. Even a few dingoes have surrounded our camp at night and eat after searching but really are not too large, more cute dogs and did not seem at all dangerous.
So was plenty of action on Fraser Iceland, which then terminated the tour for Thomas, Lars and Marco. For the other Thomas, Cindy and I then went to night ride next to the Whitsunday islands, the Caribbean, from Australia!

Words To Put On Retirement Cake
Brisbane Byron Bay
Thus, since the last blog entry are already eons passed, very big sorry for that. Here is it not always so easy to find internet and then we were pretty much on rumreisen and had honestly not always real time. Well, anyway, now I try sometimes to roll once again and to tell you!
Byron Bay After we had left behind us, we spent a lot of time around Brisbane. Ca. 100 km south of Brisbane is the Gold Coast and 100 km north of the Sunshine Coast, both absolute holiday highlights for the Australians! Our goal was really to surf intense, but there has unfortunately made us the shaft God a spanner in the works: (Thank goodness the area has to offer but also different! The Gold Coast's like this, the Florida of Australia (the cities in which we were called including Miami, Surfers Paradise, Palm Beach ...) and there are lots of entertainment! For example, a lot of theme parks! Seaworld was of course a must for us and with all his sharks, manta rays, dolphins and of course also true fun! A water park called Wet 'n Wild we have visited, which consists basically of a lot of slides (Free Fall slide, giant funnel, slides with lots of curves and little) and builds the hot weather here for powerful cooling!
The next day we went further north to the Sunshine Coast, where the highlight was the Australia Zoo then. Owned by the Irvin family and was led up to his death by Steve Irvin. Completely in his sense, too, especially since a lot of crocodiles, kangaroos, wombats (a few nurses even had a watch-nosed wombat on a leash), koalas, Tasmanian devils, and the occasional snake up close! Is already a must! After Thomas then (that was big, yes to the date two Thomases) and I will do it again plunged into the water with the board (near the world famous Super Bank), the trip went in the direction of Fraser Iceland!

Southern Wedding Koozie
Since we're here, we have again had great weather and surf again yesterday at the beach. The beach itself is sufficient as long as the eye has very fine, golden sand and is actually hard to beat. So once again perfect weather for a tan:) Of course we have all four again NEN slight sunburn, but that will soon be containing all the brown! The waves were not so the screamer and we could not legally have small boards, so it has the surfing experience held somewhat in check, but at 30 degrees, sunny and super beach do we grumble sometimes not:) The water is now a whole corner warmer than Melbourne, so you can go without a wetsuit swim quite loose, which is really very pleasant!
Otherwise Byron Bay is also more like a party stronghold, perhaps comparable with total Lloret de Mar, and currently flooded with 18-19 year old Australians, the Abi you are finished and want to celebrate now. So everything here are pretty funny and reminds me of the good old days before uni:) Today we will first are the surfboards and swimwear in the corner and let look at the environment and the countryside, let's see, what to report since then There!
Good Masterbation Lubricants
Sydney
So, again, a message from us and our journey! After the boys had picked me up at the airport in Sydney (with low two hours late) we went first to look for a hostel, which we quickly found in the inner city. Since it started to become evening, we are getingelt only a bit through the inner city and have visited the Sydney Tower. From there, you have a wonderful view over the city and the night is really great. After a short visit to a Sydney casino have Marco and I can then finish the day with a few glasses of wine in the back-packer.
On the second day we went on with the city of Sydney uncertain and especially the symbol of Sydney, the Opera, held on undglaublich many pictures. We also have, for example, still visits the Chinese garden and park, Sydney is just already a gigantic city and acts contrary to Melbourne too! The next stop should then be the known bonuses Beach, a suburb of Sydney, especially for its beach and surfing known is. Stupid way was there, booked everything and we have only after a long search found a hostel, which actually had some free places. And that was, well ... simply scrap: (The rooms have stunk like anything, everything was filthy, and even the guy at the front desk was kind of weird to make Well no, we have let us, then stink for a night and are then the next morning quite early to the beach (. take a shower without, they were really threw up ...). The next day we spent at the beach complete with a mix of sun and surf. As a result, Marco and I have a rather thick sunburnt, but they are mighty confident that we even more a whole corner are brown and soon no longer be recognized as a European:) stay overnight
we have then in a better hostel (YHA with one really can not do nothing wrong) and are now on their way north. After some Umherirrerei and a long traffic jam we have happened then Newcastle and try to fight your now as much as possible to the north. Let's see how far we get that!

Holiday Gifts Stroke Patients
red soil and rain
So now there are also once again a post from me. recently had their hands full of work, my parents came to visit me and as we have of course tried to visit all of Australia within 10 days. Did not quite work out, but we have seen a lot in any case.
Right after we went to a three-day tour to Broken Hill. This is about 850 km away from Melbourne and the radius of 300 km is definitely no civilization, no village, no nothing (a gas station half way to the arrogant tourists). But the trip to Broken Hill suggests, that the clock tick something else (actually there because even 30 minute time change, but we have noticed until the second day ^ ^). The first few hundred miles on forever WORKS by cornfields, then the country will slowly dry and only bushes are visible. The last town before Broken H
ill, Mildura, then again super green (vineyards) and acts like an oasis in the middle of the whole desert. Then, as I said 300km without a house and then comes Broken Hill.
On the way we then isolated kangaroos seen (unfortunately, more dead than alive) and emus and small stops always enjoyed the scenery. What was clearly there in the Outback is nowhere safe from flies. A five-minute stop and you have a whole colony to get around, but somehow belongs to a little flair. The next day we drove to Silverton a small "city", which is even further in nothing, now had 3,000 residents and now a full 20 calls her own (but has 3 art galleries!). But at least the ghost town location is now up about 200 movies have been, 2 including, for example Mad Max And who wants to walk again on Mel Gibson's tracks, which can even since the original car from Mad Max marvel, really cool truck.
Then we went on the obligatory
Bush Walk through the Outback, where we then were able to save even no longer kangaroos, lizards and other outback animals. After visiting the sculpture park of Broken Hill (yes, there all very focused on art), as we went on the first night in the Democratic Club (large bar) for steak and eat and drink a few beers / whiskey. The next day we wanted to have a national park in south 200km of Broken Hill, but since we unfortunately the weather had thwarted plans. Yes exactly, since we were amazed Nocht bad, it rained in the outback and how. The Broken Hill'er found the total super, of course, we do not like to but what can you do ...
went So the last week then, unfortunately, continues in Melbourne, rain, rain and more rain (Apid said the longest period of rain the last few years). Stupid for my parents, but I think we have time still well used. The schedule then that is still the City including Eureka Tower, Queen Victoria Market, my university, the Great Ocean Road, Phillip Iceland (with hyperactive koalas, which are ran around like crazy), each Amount of seafood and the casino (where I'm like literally threw the first machine a dollar and in 1995 again came out!). So at the end here in Melbourne also off operations in the area for me here rapidly.
Well, and now say again bye bye for me here in Melbourne. Nearly five months I was here and I must say I enjoyed every second. Somehow take the seemingly only a bit faster than us, at least I feel like as if I only arrived yesterday. And even now I sit here at the airport, waiting for my plane, which brings me to Sydney where I will meet Thomas, Lars and Marco, have begun our grand tour already. If I think a wonderful thing! Fixed station next to Sydney then Brisbane, by then called Road Trip. Let's see super, what will be there so everything going on. Then you will soon find at least here:) Until then, greetings to Germany and have fun in the snow:)

Does Acne Grows In The Dark
Yes, we still live
Hey there!
Did not notify me only once that you think a shark ate a kangaroo us or gave us adopted:) Is everyone still busy with the university, the last exam is on Wednesday. So for me to say hang out at home and learn and hang out for Thomas and Lars in the library and ... naja halt learn. The meantime, I vertrödel me at the moment from time to time to surf (which is always better, yay), also had Cindy and I now have a little trouble with your landlord (long story, short version: Out of Control Lessor totally kicked all, twice had the police because the landlord has stolen stuff from their rooms (heating, pillows, passport), a lawyer, get psychological terror). So, not all Australians are fond of, there are exceptions! Well, the great Majority is still really super nice!
Well, and so slow, we can now even include the last days here in Melbourne. Come to the exam all for my parents to visit (again called trips) and then is finally starting groooooße on our tour. Thomas and Lars will do with a buddy already on the way, I will be at 25.11. meet in Sydney and then a journey for Lars and Thomas to 15.12. and for me to 15.1. is on the agenda then include: Sydney, the East Coast with lots of great beaches, Brisbane, Frasier Iceland, the Whitsunday Islands, Cairns, the Great Barrier Reef and Tasmania. Well, become jealous? Do not worry, we will provide you with neat pictures:)

Exercise & Bronchitis
surfing and learning
Well, my friends the sun? Well right now we are probably the sun here at 25-30 degrees and mostly blue sky in the Melbourne spring. The whole would obviously be better if the university once again would not be stupid and the exams would stand by the door: (Well at the moment and so we sit around a lot at home and in the library and try reinzuhauen senseless stuff in our skulls (ie from there everything like home ^^).... So from the side at the moment not the exciting activities: (
better it will get even in terms of surfing, we have then, despite all
take university can not! And we have just done a few times several beaches unsafe (well some more, the other less, sorry Thomas) and now you can reasonably stand on the thing! We will soon be determined more often fall into the water, depending on how often it allows the university less than genuine Australians must be something can sometimes yes, finally)
otherwise there is not so much new, Thomas eats on the road to improvement with his knee and I did yesterday while surfing NEN really thick sunburn .... See you again (hopefully with more photos again ...)!

Lea Sophia Party Invitations
Everything went well!
Like most even know that Thomas had been struggling the last few weeks with a broken knee, which he has (not quite sober) incurred on our house party. After a while annoying bureaucracy (eg with health insurance, because you have to fill out that is probably appear first, some forms and wait for OK, until you may even go to the hospital), he finally had his surgery today. The good news is everything went well you have operated on the right leg and also an accidental sex change he is spared (although such a pair of breasts he could stand druchaus ^ ^)!
Now we hope that he will recover quickly from the surgery and soon can walk normally and do sports. Especially in terms of the surf (were already 3 times and are better), he must make up quite a lot, so we keep our fingers crossed as strong!

Damask Pearl Wrapping Paper
SURFING!
On this day we have been waiting for soo long! Yesterday it was finally time! SRUFEN! At the start were Timo, apit, Christopher and I ... Lars would also come along to, but had until Sunday evening still make his last assignment completed: (According to forecast when the weather all day Sunday will be great, so we went from Iceland to Phillip for the waves to test ^ ^
And I want to sugarcoat anything, the weather was just awesome! words, throughout the spring you do not complain really:)
were a choice of two beaches surfers Woolamae and Smith Beach. Woolamae but is regarded as something dangerous which is why we decided to beach the Smith family friendly .. Finally, we have absolutely no idea of surf ... until now anyway ^ ^ And in the face of the waves at Smith Beach, the waves in me I will not at present only Woolamae also! :) I was blown away once so hats ... I first knew not for a while what's up and down ^ ^ so is the family beach is more than enough for a start!
Timo and Chris have then also fully equipped and a Neoprenanzugf + surfboard hire. Since my knee gematscht yes, unfortunately, still I have is with trying out a surfboard and left me with Christopher's first bodyboard satisfied. Hell, it was cool that Chris lent me for a while later, his board and I'm really 3-4 waves erschicht right! ;) Since the wait was really worth it! to stand or kneel but was still nothing to do but lie on it alone and removed from the shaft good 50-60 meters with reasonable speed to the beach to be is just awesome!
I will, up to the surgery next Monday no longer go surfing, but the Junx already have for the Wednesday and next weekend big plans! Think it will be here to report new successes! So many times then greetings from sunny Melbourne, Thomas

Adelaide Tour
So, I'll habs so threatened before, so now even a post to our tour. After we unfortunately due to high air fares will not be able to fly to the Whisunday Islands (but postponed is not abandoned clearly!), We have entschienden us to explore the southern coast of Australia and make a road trip to Adelaide. It was Adelaide on our seven-day trip is really only the arrival point, the way was the ultimate goal. Started
we are here to fourth (Thomas, Lars, Chris and I) in the morning to about Geelong (industrial city, all that is have a good footy-fc to drive and the Wool Museum) to Torquay, the beginning of the Great Ocean Road. stayed long in Surfers Paradise, we have not, however, is where we were before schonmal. Next we went to Anglesea and Lorne to Apollo Bay where we then spent the first night in a really nice backpackers, even overlooking the bay. Along the way, gabs to see a lot of great beaches and coasts, plenty of pictures Gibts yes (and we have uploaded a small fraction of the total of ~ 1400 units). A trip to the Otway National Park was also on the program, which was then announced as a contrast jungle and plants of all kinds. Of course, we not also endured, and our entire stock of beer and parts of the Vodka-stock on the first day completely flattened, accordingly funny wars in the evening Backpackers yet:) Of course I like someone in my neighboring village since taken once you see how small the world is so!
The second day was then dedicated to the Great Ocean Road, which is then entlangschlängelt further 150 km of the cliffs. Every few kilometers we did pause to enjoy the scenery and the first course, the famous 12 Apostles and London Bridge was. Really amazing what you get to see there, that can convey not at all with pictures. Another small case of a shorter trip to the Otway National Park then gabs again to see some wild koalas, which, yes, but mitlerweile here more like the standard program includes:) We stayed overnight then has in Warrnambool, which is the end of the Great Ocean Road and sleepy total, but a few super nice beaches. They're just totally wide and miles long, out of a picture book, and especially deserted.
The next day we explored a bit small islets around Warrnambool and then lunch Cindy picked up from the station, had to work
and therefore the Great Ocean Road has missed completely. This day was first announced a lot of driving, so a bit we had to move forward too. It went on the coast long with many many small, sleepy kArms total, where often only a hand full of life and where people say platypus and echidnas really good night. See also gabs nor the Mount Gambier, a volcanic crater, where a lake was the color changes from time to time (well at least once a year). We stayed overnight in Kingston, another is sleeping village, but still had a good and cheap motel.
highlight of the next day was the Coorong National Park, where there was to see including a dry salt lake. Well actually it was more the big nothing, what there was there, the "lake" that is consisted simply of a mile long, totally flat desert. We have also since found the unanimous best beach of the tour, once again huge and wide and long with lots of colorful shells and great waves.
pity that in radius of 50 kilometers was nothing else we could have as great surfing. But even there we found the beach have so much, we just more or less an hour with my mouth open sat and simply enjoy nature. Then we went dead-straight to Adelaide, that for its 1.4 million inhabitants and totally like a little backwater effect. After a bit of sight seeing we went there too in a great backpackers into comfortable bed.
On the fifth day we wanted to first thing in Kangaroo Iceland, an island near Adelaide with several natural wonders, but we forgot to notify us in advance for the ferry.
Well rescheduled at short notice, we went until the afternoon then left for a brief tour of the surrounding wine country in the Adelaide Hills. Here I found was able to acquire, among them "Hahndorf, a German tourist town, where as a lot of hot dogs, sausage and other German hits. After we take the ferry finally Kangaroo Iceland had achieved, we could really just look at a view point, until we set off down the search for a campsite (Free camping is available on the island under sentence and the Australians are pretty with something severe). After a long search, where we have always kangaroos found on the road, we could find then one (even with toilets, full of luxury!) And have the day can then end with a cozy fireplace, a few beers and giant millipedes .
On the sixth day was pure natural announced on Kangaroo Iceland. In the morning it was first at Seal Bay, a bay where a lot of sea lions lying around idle, so they are sunning themselves clumsy waddling around. It was permitted to up to 2m ran to the greasy, yet nimble animals, petting banned but unfortunately the Rangers. The next stop was then Little Sahara, a small Desert in the middle of the otherwise really pretty green island with lots of dunes, sand storms and all the trimmings. Result was that we have within an hour risen properly to tan and then tten sand in every orifice ha
:) After we went through the Flinders National Park to the Remarkable Rocks, huge stones, which usually hollowed out and through the Ice Age totally weird were formed. Okok, there are only rocks, but really worth seeing, look simply at the pictures! Then we went back to sleep on the ferry (this time with more waves) back to Adelaide.
The seventh day was frankly not very spectacular, all the way now had to be cut back. So the morning at 10 inside the car, at 10 out ausm car ... The funny thing is that we actually all the time only the street where we live, are long gone, which is namely to the inner city of Adelaide. So basically we spent a week just in our neighborhood on the way:)
In
end of the trip was a great thing, has paid off total! We have again a few more amazing animals in the wild seen (the sea lions, lizards, cool, ugly giant centipede), really indescribable nature and nice people everywhere. This time, really a lot of Australians, one from Melbourne so here not so used to it. When the heard that we are German, came several times to us locals to us with an absolutely first-intentioned, sincere "Welcome to Australia" to shake hands. I think something available in Frankfurt at the station less often ... Our hats car again endured expect too brave and true as bewähert outdoor cart! So in total: the first major trip was great, Australia is worth it:) The downside of any holiday is, of course, he comes to an end, so we must now all be back hard at work. The next report provides hopefully finally from surfing! Cheers!
Started

Hey Folks!
So now you have again long we heard nothing. Big sorry for that, but of course this has everything for a reason. We had, in fact now have a week off from the University of annoying and 7 days have long made a road trip with our rust bucket! Everything was super cool in all this but again more in the next post, the next day comes with lots of pictures promised! Only so much already in advance to calm: all having survived and the car is not broken!
In principle, the weather here for quite a corner better! Times were already on the beach here in Melbourne and have a bit sunned. Although the wind on the sea a bit chilly, but the sun burns but the more times if they d
a is. So the best conditions for very many more trips and a lot of Australian flair! Quite apart from that I
was a few days earlier with Cindy still in the Rocky Horror Show, which is also currently on tour because we thought that's sometimes a great opportunity. Was a really great evening with great music, good band, especially a hammer good actor (even fairly well known here in Australia say I have been told)! So much time until the next big post, hold your chin up!

First!
Hi folks!
It took and took, all night long we have together rumgehockt, plowed, cramming, programmed, studied or how mans call it otherwise might. It cost us a lot of nerves and there are coffee powder and biscuits in the barrel area have vanished. Assignment for Assignment, essay for essay, program by program, just really computer-equipped ... Everything actually not really the things that you really really connects Australia ... But you know what? All this is now absolutely shit, I am of finished! HA!
In a final sprint, I've given everything again, so I am now ready. I could not have even let a few days time, but by something like a bet for self've tried today unds worked out:) Okok, so a bit what can be done even later, but that's just small stuff (mal ne show or something) and containing the exams. Thomas and Lars have a bit of work to do, but the light at the end of the tunnel is to see clearly even when the two!
So then, the loose part of our stay, start slowly. To me that is simply this evening, as long and as much drink until I can not remember my own name and the word university definitely can not say more:) Does not matter to me today is everything eh! Well then once Prost!
